“HOSE. – In loving remembrance of our dear brother Albert, died military hospital 9th April 1918. One year has passed, and still to memory dear, we breathe his loving name and shed a silent tear. – Loving sister Polly, Ernest, children.
“HOSE. – In loving memory of our dear brother, Rfn. A. Hose, died military hospital April 9th, 1918. Could we but clasp his hand and see his loving smile, that means so much to us. – Loving sister Bella, Harry, children.
“HOSE. – In loving memory of our dear brother, Rfn. A. Hose, died military hospital April 9th, 1918. We cannot clasp thy hand, dear brother, your face we cannot see, but let this little token show we still remember thee. – Loving brother Harry, fiancée Maggie.
“HOSE. – In loving remembrance of our dear brother Albert, died military hospital April 9th, 1918. How sweet is the memory of departed worth. – Loving sister Lizzie, Harry.
“HOSE. – In loving memory of our dear son and brother Rfn. A. Hose, 13 Crown-street, Carlton-road, died military hospital April 9th, 1918, after 3½ years' service, aged 27. Best of sons, thoughtful and kind, good was his life, his heart, and mind; to all his loved ones he's ever dear, ne'er to forget, for he's ever near. – Sadly missed by sorrowing mother, father, sisters, brothers (Bill, Salonika), fiancée Lizzie.
“HOSE. – In loving memory of our dear brother, Rfn. A. Hose, died military hospital April 9th, 1918. There's ne'er a night returns or a morning dawns but what we speak of thee. - Loving sister Annie, Horace, children, Ratcliffe.”
