Albert George Gurden's name was placed on the Mundella memorial in error. Gurden served (8/825) with the NZEF (14th Otago Regiment) and was wounded at Gallipoli. He survived the war and died 28/8/1919 at Wellington Hospital having fallen from a moving tram. Thanks to Julian Putkowski for this research.
In 1911 he was a warehouse clerk.
