He appears to have been the only child of the marriage.

Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve
Was serving onboard SS Westergate, a merchant ship owned at the time of her loss by Franco-British SS Co Ltd (Olivier & Co), Cardiff, at the time of his death. The ship was sunk by U-Boat 80 (Max Viebeg) 22 miles off Start Point en route Hartlepool-Carthagena (24 casualties). Buried Geffosses Churchyard, Manche, France; his grave is near north wall of church.
