Sydney married Maggie Beck (born 26th November 1892) in 1914 at Nottingham, they lived at 7 Gatling Street, Old Radford, Nottingham, they had a son Cyril born 15th April 1915 Commencing 25th November 1919 Maggie Cooper, was awarded a pension of 20 shillings and 5 pence a week, she later resided at 13, Elm Rd., Skellow, Doncaster, Yorks.
