Private Cecil James Povey, enlisted in Nottingham and initially served with service number 47015 in The Sherwood Foresters (Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire ) Regiment and was later transferred to the 13th Battalion The King's (Liverpool Regiment), he was killed in action on 3rd May 1917 he has no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.
