Private Thomas Ernest Shaw, “A” Company, 8th Battalion Leicestershire Regiment, was wounded and taken prisoner at Bullecourt on 3rd May 1917. He died of those wounds in German hands on 28th June 1917. He is buried in Cologne Southern Cemetery Grave Reference: X G 3
