He was the son of Samuel and Rose Sarah Mosley and the brother of Wilfred Leslie, Claude Owen, and Rose Edna Mosley. In 1911 they lived at 234 Haydn Road and later at 55 Osborne Grove Sherwood (both Nottingham). Wilfred Leslie Mosley was killed 5/4/1918 serving with 1st Bn Lincolnshire Regiment.
