Son of William and Harriett Dunn. In 1901 Albert is living with his parents and four siblings at 82, St. Peter's Street, Radford. By 1911, he is living with his retired parents and one sister at 22, Forster Street, Radford. By the time the War Graves registers were published the address given for his parents was Hey Farm, Upperthong, Holmfirth, Yorks.
In 1901, age 17, he is a coal miner (below ground/lamp cleaner above ground). By 1911, age 27, he as changed to a bobbin and carriage hand, working at a lace machine builders.
