Also Maud Nelson, 18th February (195-)' An article from the local paper reads;- Mrs nelson , wife of Mr W Nelson Eleycar Farm who died with painful suddenness, was a lady of genial disposition and attractive personality. She was highly respected in the parish. Much sympathy is felt for the bereaved husband and family. It will be remembered their only son was killed in the early days of the war. That considerable affected Mrs Nelsons health. The funeral took place on the 29th amidst every token of respect, the last rites being performed in the absence through indisposition of the Vicar, by the Rev H M Corlett of Misterton.
