“HENSON. – Killed in action, May 12th, 1917, Private Percy Henson, South Staffordshire, aged 24, of 54, Waterford-street, Old Basford. A noble life laid down. – From his sorrowing mother, sister, and brothers.
“HENSON. – Killed in action, May 12th, Private Percy Henson, South Staffordshires. He did his duty. – From uncle, aunt, cousins Wilfred (Stanley in France). – C. Marshall, Stapleford.
“HENSON. – Killed in action, May 12th, Private Percy Henson, South Staffordshires. Duty nobly done. – From grandfather, uncle, aunts, and sister Elsie, 50, Church-street, Old Basford.
“HENSON. – Killed in action, May 12th, 1917, Private Percy Henson, South Staffordshires. We miss him most who love him best. – His fiancée Beatie, Mrs. Faulks, and family.”
