Frank William Val Pilmore died of wounds at No 12 General Hospital, Rouen . He is buried in St. Sever Cemetery, Rouen, Grave Reference B.32.13
In memoriam published 5th August 1916 in the Nottingham Evening Post :- “PILMORE. – Died of wounds, July 30th, Private Frank Pilmore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Pilmore, Beeston. Loving remembrance.” In memoriam published 30th July August 1918 in the Nottingham Evening Post :- “PILLMORE. [sic] – In affectionate memory of Pte. Frank Pillmore, died of wounds July 30th, 1916.
