He was the son of Joseph and Ellen Harrison and the brother of Jim Harrison. In 1911 they lived at 4 Holden Street Mansfield. He was the husband of Ann (née Coulson) Harrison and the father of Cyril E and John C Harrison. Ann married Alfred Huffen in 1919.
He was a pony driver below ground.
