He was the son of Thomas and Sarah Bramley and the brother of George and Flossie Bramley of 5 Whyburn Terrace Hucknall Torkard Nottinghamshire. Thomas married his wife Harriett Chaplain in 1913, their marriage was recorded in the Basford Registration district, they lived at 15 Newstead Street and 4 Hart St, both Bulwell Nottingham. Thye had two children Winifred born 1st October 1914 and Margaret born 15th November 1915. Following his death his widow Harriett was awarded a pension of 25 shillings and 5 pence per week which commenced on 21st October 1918.
In 1911 he was a framework knitter.

Royal Field Artillery
Gunner Thomas Francis Bramley served with 'C' Battery 312nd brigade Royal Field Artillery, he died of gas shell wounds on 13th April 1918 at 3rd Canadian casualty clearing station and is buried at St Hilaire cemetery extension, Frevent, France.
