William Thomas Gore was the son of Charles Francis Gore and Maria Elizabeth Herrick who married at Nottingham in 1897. They had three children: William Thomas (b.1897), Ada Nellie (b.1898) and Eric Cecil Gore (b.1911). The family lived at: 118 Garfield Road, Radford [C.1901]; 25 Garfield Street [C.1911]; 30 Grimston Road, Radford [n.e.p.9.6.1917]. Charles Francis Gore, who was a cycle fitter in the 1901 census and a printing machine fitter in 1911, died at Nottingham, aged 57, in 1927. His widow, Maria Elizabeth, died, aged 79, in 1953 when she was living at 50 Grimston Road, Radford.
