296th Brigade Royal Field Artillery James was reported missing on 21st March 1918 and subsequently listed as killed in action on that date. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.
Nottingham Evening Post dated 17th March 1919 : - ROLL OF HONOUR. “Sec.-Lieut.
