Mother Alice Trenam of Park Street, Sutton in Ashfield. Father Alfred had died in 1907. His name was Herbert but seems to have gone by the name of Harry. He was one of 11 children.
He was a colliery iron driver below ground.

11th Bn Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derby Regiment)
Private Herbert Trenam, enlisted at Sutton in Ashfield and served with the 11th Battalion Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment. He landed in France on 27th August 1915 and was killed in action on 7th June 1917. He is buried at Bedford House Cemetery.
This man is commemorated in a book of remembrance held by Mansfield District Council.
