Edward Bradbury (junior) was born in 1880 at Nottingham and was the son of Edward Bradbury (senior) a labourer and the late Emma Bradbury née Greaves of 11 Oliver Street Cromwell Street Nottingham. His father Edward (senior) was born in 1848 at Nottingham, his mother Emma Greaves was born in 1853 also at Nottingham, she died in 1906 she was 53 yrs of age, they were married at St Marys Church, Nottingham on 20th April 1871 and went on to have the following children, Kate b1875, William John b1877, Edward b1880, Emma b1881, Lizzie b1883, May b1886, Mary b1889 and Charles b1890, all were born in Nottingham.
He was a labourer.

Private Edward Bradbury enlisted on 26 August 1914 at Nottingham age 34 yrs and 25 days and was a labourer. He was issued service number 6464 and posted to the 9th battalion Sherwood Foresters Regiment. Killed in action, 9th August 1915, in the attack at Ismail Oglu Tepe, (Chocolate Hill), Gallipoli, Turkey. His name is commemorated on the Helles Memorial, Turkey. Panel 150 to 152.
