Radford Nottingham
He was the son of Alfred and Ellen Fletcher and the brother of Beatrice, Flora, William, Horace, Percy, Augustus and Gertie Fletcher. In 1891 the family lived at 118 Birkin Avenue Hyson Green and in 1901 at 331 Denman Street Old Radford (both Nottingham). He was the husband of Ethel (née Marvin) Fletcher and the brother of Stanley and Harold Fletcher. In 1911, when Alfred Charles was boarding in Walsall, Ellen Fletcher still lived in Radford at 7 Palin Street with six of her children.
In 1901 he worked in the lace industry and in 1911 as a hosier's assistant.
