He was the son of the late James and the late Harriett Beeson of 30 Hornbuckle Street Radford Nottingham and the brother of Percy Beeson.

13th (1st Barnsley) Bn York and Lancaster Regiment
Private Frank Beeson, enlisted at Derby and initially served with service number 8124 with the West Riding Regiment and later transferred to the 13th battalion York and Lancaster Regiment he was killed in action on 25th March 1918 and is commemorated on the Arras Memorial.
In memoriam published 25th March 1919 in the Nottingham Evening Post :- “BEESON. – In loving memory of Pte. Frank Beeson, killed in action March 25th, 1918. Far from our home, but always in our hearts. – Mother, brothers, sister, and Thurza. “BEESON. – In loving memory of Pte. F. Beeson, killed in action March 25th, 1918.
