Frank was born on 24th May 1894 and was christened on 21st October 1894 at Kirk Hallam, Derbyshire. He was the son of Edwin a lace manufacturer and Annie Jebbett. Edwin was born in 1866 in Nottingham, Annie Walker in 1865 at Ilkeston. Married in 1893, they had a further son Arthur Cecil in 1897. In 1911, Frank’s parents lived at 26, Hampden Street, Beeston whilst their sons were boarding at Southwell Minster School. Frank emigrated to Canada in March 1912 and settled at Venn, Saskatchewan as a farmer.
He became a weekly boarder at Minster School, Southwell, in 1906, leaving when he was 15

Frank Jebbett enlisted on 18th March 1916 at Winnipeg, Canada and was killed in action 28th April 1917 during the Arras Offensive. Vimy Memorial, Pas de Calais, France.
Death notice published 18th May 1917 in the Nottingham Evening Post :- 'JEBBETT. – Killed in action, April 28th, Private Frank Jebbett, Canadian Infantry, the beloved elder son of E. and A.
