Nottingham
He was the husband of Eliza (née Roberts) Seymour and the father of George Henry, Nellie, Walter, Lucy and Lilly Seymour. In 1901 they lived at 5, Wool Alley and in 1911 at 5, Olive Yard, (both Barker Gate Nottingham).
In 1911 Henry was a lace machine builder, Eliza a net mender and George Henry worked as a van boy.

Pte Seymour was attested on 1st December 1914 at Nottingham and served with the 7th battalion Sherwood Foresters until he was medically discharged on 15th September 1916.
Nottingham Evening Post Roll of Honour 11/9/1916: 'Seymour. Died through illness, September 9th, Private Harry Seymour, Notts & Derby, late of 5 Olive Yard, Barker Gate. He did his duty. Sorrowing wife and children.'
