Radford Nottingham
He was the 34 year-old son of the late Francis and Mary Ann Terzza William married his wife Elizabeth Offiler born 1888 on 16th June 1906 at St Pauls Church, Nottingham, they went on to have the following children, Linda Elizabeth born 1907, George William born 1909, Annie born 1910, Ada born 1912, Rose and Robert Terzza both born September 1913, the family lived at 1 Forster Ave, Forster Street, Nottingham. In 1911 they lived at 1 Lumley Street Saville Street Radford Road Nottingham and are shown as William Bernard Terzza 26 yrs a carter, he is living with his wife Elizabeth 26 yrs and their children, Linda Elizabeth 4 yrs, George William 2 yrs and Annie 6 months of age. Following his death his widow Elizabeth was awarded a pension of 42 shillings and 1 pence a week which commenced on 25th August 1918 she was living at 8 St Peters Avenue, St Peters Street, Radford.
He was a carter in 1911.

Private William Bernard Terzza, was called up for service on 24th January 1917 at Nottingham, he stated he was 32 yrs and 45 days old, he was living at 1 Forster Ave, Forster Street, Nottingham, he stated he was a labourer and his next of kin was his wife Elizabeth of the same address. He stated he had previously served in the 4th battalion Sherwood Foresters Regiment. He was posted to the 1st (Garrison) battalion North Staffordshire Regiment and later served with the Clearing Office, Labour Corps. He died at the Berridge Road Military Hospital on 17th February 1919 of pneumonia and is buried at Nottingham General Cemetery
