He was the son of George and Ada Casterton and the brother of Alfred, Mabel Lily, Florence May, Isiaih, Clara and Ernest Wilfred Casterton. In 1911 they lived at High Street Avenue Arnold Nottingham.
In 1911 he was a hosiery hand runner on.
