Private John William Harry Marriott, enlisted at Nottingham and served with the 2nd Battalion Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment, he was killed in action on 24th September 1915. He is commemorated on the Menin Gate.
2nd Nottingham Boys' Brigade ROH lists him as 'Private JW Marshall'. Id confirmed by Nottingham Evening Post obituary (mainly illegible) 8/10/1915 David Nunn
