Memorial plaques of men killed in both world wars on the exterior wall of St Michaels and All Angels Church Underwood

St Michael and All Angels, Church Lane, Underwood. The memorial comprises a clock (WMA 26956) and east window (WMA 26955). A tablet recording the names of those who died was erected on the outside of the church on the east wall. Dedication: 'This public clock was voluntarily subscribed for and erected to the Glory of God and in honoured memory of the local officers and men who fell in the Great War 1914-1918.' (Names) The above east window was also erected in proud memory of the same. Greater love hath no man.’ A tablet to the men who died in the Second World War has been installed below the Great War memorial.
