Mattersey All Saints, Abbey Road, Mattersey DN10 5DX, Dedication: ‘To the Glory of God and in grateful memory of the men of this parish who lost their lives in the Great war 1914-1918. The table and the clock in the church tower were erected 1921’ (names, rank, unit), ‘Greater love hath no man than this, than a man lay down is life for his friends’ 1939-45 (one name). There is also a Roll of Honour, listing all those who volunteered for war service, by the tower.
