Nottingham - Trent Bridge Boys Elementary School, Green Street

Trent Bridge Elementary School for boys, along with another for girls and an infant department built on the same site, opened in 1909 with boys aged predominantly 7 or 8 (too young for Great War military service). Partly educated elsewhere, Alleyne Bosworth, Herbert Lake and Ralph Pearson joined a top class of 25 older pupils. This honours board hung in school hall between c. 1920 and the early 1970s when the school, by then merged with Roland Green Comprehensive, closed. It has been in David Nunn's keeping since 1972.
