  • This is a very ‘naive’ memorial, and consists of two panels , upon which is carved  10 names ( 5 on each panel ) of local parishioners who died during the Great War.  There is no reference to the war itself.  The panels were carved by a local parishioner and was completed shortly after the war.

  • Subsequently a five light stained glass window was installed in the church, as a First World War memorial to those who served in the ‘Great War’ 1914 - to 1918. There are no names on this memorial. Below it runs the following ’ To the Glory of God and in memory of the members of this church who served in the great war 1914-1919. ‘
