He was the son of Albert and Sarah Ann (Annie) Lloyd, of 33 Havelock Street, St. Ann's Well Road, Nottingham, and the husband of Ethel May Renshaw (formerly Lloyd) of 42 Balfour Road, Lenton Sands, Nottingham (CWGC). Harry had a sister, Ethel, who died 5 December 1921 aged 31. His mother died on 15 October 1925 aged 67 and his father on 19 March 1930 also aged 67.

He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Arras Memorial (Bay 3).
Family grave and headstone, Nottingham Church (Rock) Cemetery: 'In loving memory of Emma, the beloved daughter of Albert and Annie Lloyd, who died Decr. 5th 1921 aged 31 years. Also Harry, brother of the above and beloved husband of Ethel Mary Lloyd, killed at Bullecourt May 3rd 1917 aged 31 years. At rest with the Lord. Also Sarah Ann (Annie) beloved wife of Albert Lloyd who died Octr. 15th 1925 aged 67 years. And of Albert, beloved husband of the above, who died March 19th 1930 aged 67 years. Peace perfect peace.' In memorial published in the Nottingham Evening Post dated 3rd May 1918:- “LLOYD. – In loving memory of my dear husband, Pte. Harry Lloyd, King's Liverpools, killed in action May 3rd, 1917. Too dearly loved to be forgotten. – Sorrowing wife and children, Elsie and Hilda.” “LLOYD. – In loving memory of Harry Lloyd, killed in action May 3rd, 1917. Sadly missed. – Mr. and Mrs. Crofts and family, Reg. (in France). “LLOYD. – In loving memory of Pte. Harry Lloyd, killed in action May 3rd, 1917.
