Pte. George Thomas Peach died of wounds on 6th September 1915 at No 19 Stationary Hospital, St Omer. He is buried in Longuenesse (St. Omer) Souvenir Cemetery.

PEACH, died of gunshot wounds September 6th in No. 10 Stationary Hospital, St Omer, Private GT Peach 1561, 1/7th Sherwood Foresters, of 13 Alison Rise, Alfred Street Central, age 20 years. Nottingham Evening Post, 10th September 1915: "PEACH. – Died of gunshot wounds September 6th, in No. 10 Stationary Hospital, St. Omer, Private G. T. Peach, aged 20, 1/7th Robin Hoods, of 13, Allison-rise, Alfred-street Central. He did his duty. – From his sorrowing father and mother, sister and brothers, and his sweetheart Lily.” Nottingham Evening Post, Roll of Honour, 16 November 1915.’Peach.
